Walking Bridge

Took the walking bridge that night

Downtown with the city lights

So bright, I wouldn’t change it

We were walking hand in hand

With the music from the band

Providing the soundtrack of the night

The stars that night

Spelled out your name

These constellations are our own

It feels good to be home

I’m so glad I’m not alone

People gathered all around

As they took their places down

To settle in, for the show

Fireworks lit up the sky

All the children came alive

You could see them in their eyes
